After watching the Disney-made documentary somone posted yesterday, it makes me think that ALL lemmings will sooner or later become extinct.

Uncool. But it reminds of several episodes of ‘That 70s Show’ in which Kelso is persuaded to jump off the water tower, his friends insisting that they will jump with him. But they never do. They never do…

I just noticed the sidebar ad that says “Watch your favourite characters in these animated shorts!” But I’m sleep deprived so I thought they had undershorts with lights and music….

I’d read somewhere long, long ago that lemmings are migratory, and during their migration they cross many ponds and lakes to get to their intended destination.Observed “jumping off a cliff” they weren’t really committing suicide, they were just thinking that it was another pond to cross. Well, they were right, of course, but it was a BIG, BIG pond and they never got to “The Far Side” (Where, oh where is Gary Larson? Come back; we NEED you!)

A “sucker” is a “fall guy”……..in this particular case, a lemming.

That second lemming better be careful because he’s leaning pretty far over and might just be the next to go over. If the guy on the ground feels like tossing him, that is.

That Disney Lemming-movie is a fakomentary, they filmed a lot of it in studio and even had someone push them over the edge with a broom since they did not jump on their own.But it is well made :D

ummmm. . . let’s see . . yesterday there wer seven lemmings and one jumped; today there are three lemmings and one jumped; where are the other three lemmings?!? Stay tooned tomorrow::: And then there were none?!? . . . . ☻

Will the last two lemmings on the cliff be fighting over getting his car?

Oh, please! They’re jumping off into a quilt! That’s no ocean, that’s a quilt! How bad could it be? Probably just bouncing around giggling…

Walt Disney should have just drawn the lemmings for the movie.

This reminds me of some of the very early Pearls series.

I swear, maybe the lemmings are jumping just to get away from the interminable jokes about them.
