    Have a listen to Sandra Boynton’s ‘Please can I keep it?’ from her album ’Philadelphia Chickens’ on YouTube. It’s so so apt.

    Totally overblown reaction to something that should have happened with all parties on board. Keeping the US government solvent is of paramount importance globally. If we default, the financial underpinning of the entire planet’s economy will collapse overnight. Yes it is that important.

    BEWARE OF THE DOG – {rhyme}

    Of your new dog be very wary;

    he might make things very hairy:

    He maybe has rabies

    or maybe eats babies,

    or maybe he’ll whiz on your floor

    as he did many times before, -

    - back when Republicans tried

    with This scruffy dog to abide.

    Now that Bannon (the Trump Whisperer) has ostensibly left the White House, maybe we should get Cesar Millan in his place. It would be interesting to see how his rehabilitation techniques with dogs would go over with politicians. He says he rehabilitates dogs and trains people. But probably a 71-year-old dog needs both.

    Don the Con already destroyed the GOP. Now he’s working on the Dems, who are grasping at straws. Where are their proposals on health care, tax reform, infrastructure, etc., anyway!? If the Dems had bills ready to hand to Donny Dumpster, he might jump at them. The whiny Dems miss the boat again.

    If the Dems don’t get their act together by 2020, we’ll all be keeping him for another four years.

    Trump is not a dog. Dogs are known for loyalty and love of people… DT doesn’t even understand what those qualities are… can’t even fake it.

    I don’t think the Dems are quite there yet. Remember, Trump demands absolute loyalty from others but gives his loyalty to no one.

    Just because that dirty racist dog made a deal – with people who actually want to get something done – doesn’t mean you want to claim him as your own. He belongs to the Republicans and will be back to touting the Klan, freeing racists and deporting children for no reason soon enough.

    Huh, such timing. I left this comment at WaPo yesterday:

    Ha! I’ve long said that Teenie Weenie Donnie Johnnie reminds me of a bridezilla who’s totally into being a bride but who then has no interest in being a wife. ReTяumpliKlans, you married and laid down with that [female dog], now try living with the cur, try keeping that mutt home. And good luck with the fleas.

    No, you can’t keep him! Why? Well, his front end looks to much like his back end!

    Trump is undermining and dismantling our government from the inside out. He gutted FEMA before Harvey. FEMA ran out of money last Friday. He has gutted and deregularized Healthcare, banking, clean air, clean water, infrastructure, education, labor laws, national parks, Finance,…… He has left at least 64 important offices without leadership or management. He is politicalizing and polarizing our judicial system. He has broken more traditions of the presidency without censure, and yet there he stands, representing our country.

    OK, once more: The first Commandment, the first line in the Declaration of Independence, the First line in the Constitutition, the first line in the Bill of Rights, the first line in every book everywhere, is: “DONALD J TRUMP IS THE BIGGLIEST, BESTEST, SMARTEST, HANDSOMEST, ALWAYS-RIGHT IN EVERY SITUATION PERSON EVER WAS OR EVER WILL BE AND BESIDES WHOM THERE IS NOTHING ELSE (except as it reflects his wonderfulness).” After which, all other lines disappear, and all other persons never were. OK?
