The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated German Wikipedia page has more, including a pointer showing, currently, 21 of his works, held by that owner) and collection (many more under Subcategories at each level).Second, of the 2 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here (2 total).
A scythe is a very good tool for cutting weeds that spring up faster than the grass needs mowing. My problem is in finding the conical sharpening stone with a hand guard that is needed to keep a scythe sharp. As 18th century revolutions show, that is a type of knife, not ax.
Actually this goes rather well with the current furore over the remake of the “Poldark” series (the original was made in the 70s and the books came before that). A lot of talk about the buff actor handling his scythe wrong. Like people care, in a production where the dialogue is incomprehensible for a start.
