Friday Cats!! – I’m not going to be around tomorrow, so here’s a couple of extra ones.

FF!!#10 – The Late Chairman Meow, turned up at mine as an intact stray Tom, house trained, and with a very loud meow!

    Bonus Bunnies!!!

I didn’t think they had any “under” under their beds. I thought their beds were just boxes on the floor with no legs on them. When I was a kid, my monster was sometimes under the bed and sometimes in the closet. He was green and prickly – kind of like walking cactus – the kind that grows tall and has "arms. And he had square head.

    Today is:

    X-Ray Day

    National S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. Day

    National Harvey Wallbanger Day

    National Cappaccino Day

National Parents As Teachers Day. Parents do need to get more involved in their kids’ education. The teachers can’t do it all. A good start would be if parents taught their kids to respect others – especially their elders.

I remember sitting on my bed with my arms around my first 6 cats (all siamese mix!) and telling them how lucky I was. A really special moment. We should finally be going home this morning after sitting around for days waiting for test results that showed nothing could be treated, then waiting yesterday for delivery of a regulator to give Craig more oxygen. In the meantime I have been surviving for days with just a few hours sleep and don’t remember ever feeling so exhausted – and cranky! Can hardly wait to see Fred, LJ, Orange, Blue and Barney.

I was always afraid to drape my hand over the side of the bed at night—-also, when I had to reach for the basement light switch in the dark. Thought for sure “something” would grab me, lol.

    BBEAR’s Friday posts:

    1. A cute kitten post: practicing mind reading on her brother (he’s hungry).

    2. A cat in a box post: what if it came to this? – a kitty horror story.

    3. If you believe this, you’re a cat person.

    4. This is what happened when I said “cheese”.

    5. Meanwhile this morning you have to get past this to go to work.

    6. A Friday Flashback repost: let the mischief begin.

    7. How to keep your kitty out of trouble.

    8. I want to wake up next to someone who loves me.

    9. A catitude post: anybody doubt that the dog is being dared?

    11. Boop, you’re loved.

    12. Kitty has made plans for today.

IME, it’s usually the cats that are under the bed. The monsters are at the door, blowing the yard, vacuuming…

If you read any of Piers Anthony’s Xanth books, bed monsters are not allowed to go out from under the bed. Sunlight will turn them into dust. The Rules say they can’t go anywhere in the darkness that they can’t go in the light. They can try to grab kids’ arms or legs, but aren’t allowed to reach up onto the bed, only get what goes underneath.

I doubt any monster would stand a chance against Lily! On another note, saw a snowflake moray eel in the pet shop today. I think moray eels are cool, but I don’t know if I’d want one for a pet. ( I probably wouldn’t like to find one under my bed either.)
