Bizarrely, this actually makes some sense!
Seems like they have been busy already with the cabinet!
They are all temps, “hired to get fired” except for a select few.
Still a good temp job though. Get a 3-4 year contract for a few million a year, get canned and get paid to sit at home collecting and set for life.
Every coach should have an annual contract (and all players too)
This is one of the great comic strips—I read it every day. I think, though, this concept is a repeat. Seems to me that the writer previously had one of the coaches calling Temp for an offensive line. Anybody remember that?
Both the Astros and Red Sox, for starters, might be interesteed as well.
A lot of people thought Ed Orgeron was going to be a Temp … boy were they wrong!
Unfortunately, Joe Brady was a Temp. He’s going to the NFL Carolina Panthers
Aren’t they all?
Cleveland? (Again)
Remember Phil Wrigley’s College of Coaches from the 1960s?
This seems to be the Vegas Golden Knights strategy as well.
I think it was Bum Phillips who summed it up best. There are two kinds of coaches. Those who have been fired and those who are going to be fired.
They’re all temps, when you think about it.
