We bought our house with the idea of giving me some privacy. We didn’t count on Mom’s becoming severely disabled, me not being able to hear her if she forgets and just yells, Dad not being able to hear her from his study, and Mom being between me and Dad. And my being disabled enough to use a cane or, when I go out, a wheelchair. We use our cells a lot in the house. But at least we don’t have to watch our minutes
