Joan: Do you ever think about getting married again, Val? Val: You mean when I can't open a jar or something? Joan: You're so unromantic. Val: And you have a terrible track record when it comes to men. Joan: But don't you miss waking up to that reassuring warmth and strength everyday? Val: Nope. Joan: Why not? Val: I bought a coffeemaker with a timer.
Must be one of the fully automatic ones with a mill. Having ground coffee sit there for 8 hours or so makes the coffee next morning taste like the brown water I got in all the diners in the USA. No drinkable coffee west of NY anywhere.
