Should’ve seen that coming.

They were probably more potent back when they were funky fresh.

Szechuan sauce? Sweet & Spicy Jam sauce? Mambo Sauce? I often put ketchup or barbecue sauce on my beans. And, I eat them from a bowl with a spoon. Moreover, I heat them up instead of straight out of the can. Now I have a craving. I have several cans of beans in the pantry and they’re all cool, until I heat them up.

Marigold is the second person I’ve seen today who’s said “awesome sauce”.

I have awesome sauce for blood. ;-)

Now I want to see a pretty pickle, a fine kettle of fish, and some sour grapes

Awesome Sauce = Thousand Island dressing.

Soon, Phoebe will feel “20% cooler”!

Sausome. Goes well with the Phoebeans.

Yes. We have bean.

I wonder if Marigold has a jar of fig jam?

I’d like to see scientific evidence that cool beans and awesome sauce work on human beings. Maybe Phoebe is just a guinea pig. Maybe Marigold is conducting an insidious experiment.

Oh, no, actually humans’ expressions have CREATED these magical nutrients and condiments and such, including their history of having been around for a long time before the expressions. Magic is weird that way.

I eat my beans with honey,

I’ve done so all my life,

It makes the beans taste funny,

But it keep them on my knife.

I feel like I should’ve seen the awesome sauce bit coming from a mile away, but dang it, I didn’t. :P

What’s next, a can of whoop… well, you know.

None of that, no matter how cool, does any good when it comes to unavoidable socializing.

Man, this gets better and better. . .
