We will Rebuild and Recover… if we can Recall various Republican holdouts from their public offices. Perhaps those are “The Three R’s” we should be teaching the public right now.

Sad but true. It’s all about the next GOP campaign and the country can go hang.

This is why a party system who’s only intrested in the PARTY will never benefit the PEOPLE.

In about 1-2 years as taxes go through the roof, the stock market continues its dismal performance, and the economy remains disastrous please revisit your sarcasm. I remember how the Democrats were all supportive of Bush and never ever looked at the next elections. If the loyal opposition is OK for one party why not the other?

GNWachs said:”If the loyal opposition is OK for one party why not the other?”

because when the GOP does it, its “Obstructionist”.

redhead - that’s because the Republicans are obstructionist. That is precisely what they are trying to be. God knows I wish the Democrats had tried being obstructionist at least once or twice during the previous eight years…

motivemagus said:”God knows I wish the Democrats had tried being obstructionist at least once or twice during the previous eight years’”

that’s funny. i recall listening to damned near every democratic response to GWB’s speeches…

Hoping to hear the Democrats say something other than “Hes wrong”…other than the 3 or so after 9/11 it was all nononono…

but they were as impotent as the republicans now…its what the “opposition” does and its a shame they’ve suckered you into picking sides…

That…and the ‘terror alerts’ being raised every time an issue came up.

It’s a stunt they continued to pull even after the 2006 elections.
