The danger of cultish tribal partisanship to our nation is clearly obvious now, and while 80% want the government to work together to start accomplishing long-neglected issues — e.g. climate change, immigration, fair gerrymander-free elections, disempowering the fillibuster, etc — they still want things done their way. Politicians, however, instead of leading, with cooperative, collaborative, unifying ideas … follow the mindless, divisive, tribally-loyal, path to obstruction and dysfunction making a once-great nation into a virtual, backward, 3rd-world nation that can’t have nice things.
As noted above, Liz Cheney only looks good in comparison. I don’t trust her any further than I could throw the Washington Monument. She pandered and supported and stood silent from the very beginning, throughout all the evil and insanity. She only jumped off the train at the very last second as it was crashing into the inevitable brick wall and now she’s trying to make a virtue of her abandonment of all she stood for throughout those years. She is lethally ambitious and is hoping to ride the demise of Dumpf and the GQP into power for herself. Speaker Pelosi should use that for everything she can, but no one should EVER think, not for a single moment, that Cheney actually cares about or believes what she is saying now. It pure political opportunism—nothing more. She’s just as evil and guilty as all the rest.
Women rule. I loved it yesterday when two women owned McCarthy II who was left stammering, flailing and threatening after they had sliced and diced him and his minions. He just came off as STUPID and incompetent.
