because the status quo isn’t working for most americans. our health care is broken. we have more people in prison. college debt is out of control. not enough is being done about climate change or water, air, and soil pollution. the wealth gap continues to increase. that is the status quo. we are going backwards now but the status quo still kills people.
Bernie is as much of a carnival barker as Trump, but of course he isn’t the con artist as Trump is. However, he’s delusional if he thinks he could (even IF he won!) get his program through Congress (even IF the Democrats control both houses). He is simply so FAR left compared to the population of the United States that he’s liable to fall off the left edge of the world……..
Please— Sanders is “so far to the left” only because the GOP has dragged the awareness of the nation so far to the right that commonsense left of center seems radical. It’s not.
Socialized government medicare works when done right. Many Americans are happy with their Medicare program, federal medical program, and military/veteran medical program. I’m already paying taxes for Medicare for seniors; I might as well pay a little more for myself instead of that huge monthly premium I’m paying for private insurance.
I would MUCH RATHER live under a “Democratic Socialist” like Bernie then a “REICH-WING FASCIST” like dump!
Democratic Socialism seems to be doing all right in such places as Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Canada, The Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand.
Let’s see…America chose the worst candidate imaginable over the Democratic status quo last time. So strange that it doesn’t have any appeal this time either. /s
Nominating a moderate is like agreeing to play the entire game inside the other team’s 50 yard line. I’d rather choose a person who will stand up for liberal ideas and hope for a few Hail Marys than someone who has conceded the game before the kickoff.

I love the presence of the word pragmatism. A concept that the Dem base is incapable of understanding.
Part of why Trump will win again in November.

The closest thing to “revolution” is Trump’s desire to be “President for Life”.

Why isn’t Warren depicted here? Has Wuerker already counted her out?

That’s alright, Amy, neither will they – they just don’t know it yet.

Note that ‘No Wars’ doesn’t have an exclamation point. Ahem.
