Why do women have to “send out signals”? Why can’t they just say what they mean? Soon after I met her, I told my ex-girlfriend that I didn’t know how to interpret subtle signals. If she wanted to tell me something, she should just tell me. She agreed, and said that she never used “signals” like that. She later dumped me because I didn’t pick up on some signals she apparently sent.
I worked and I didn’t know my girlfriend’s irregular school schedule. I told her to call or come over whenever it was convenient for her. We have been married for 45 years.
