It’s possible, of course, that Trump’s creative accounting fell entirely within legal boundaries. “Fraud” shouldn’t be thrown around lightly, since it may be that all he’s done is lie to the public about his finances, which isn’t illegal (or unlikely).

But where the fault lies, let the great axe fall.

“Part of the beauty of me is that I am very rich.” Trump 2012. On not paying taxes "’That makes me smart’ Trump 2016. “It’ll all be revealed [after the audit]” Trump said in 2020 in response to the NYTimes article that Trump had years of chronic losses and paid virtually no taxes .

LONG-CONCEALED RECORDS SHOW TRUMP’S CHRONIC LOSSES AND YEARS OF TAX AVOIDANCE

    www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/09/27/us/donald-trump-taxes.html

9 key takeaways about Trump Inc. from the New York Times report

Additionally, I voted on 9/28. When requesting a mail-in ballot, I also registered for email and text notification. I was notified when the ballot was sent and the ballot arrived two days later. I had read that a ballot would not be processed if the signatures did not match. Since my signature varies from day to day, I knew that my current signature would not match the signature on file. I solved this problem by hand-delivering my unsigned ballot to the county and then signing the ballot in the presence of a county voting official. She checked my signature against county records and noticed that the signature had been submitted in 1996. She then provided a form to update my signature. Thus, my twenty-four-year-old signature was replaced with a version as close as possible to the signature on my ballot. The county voting official then told me that she would put my ballot in a safe. I hope that this information will be helpful to someone.

He might have paid millions in taxes but got it all back, the question should be; how much tax have you actually paid? Also one business’ losses should not be propped up by other business profits with creative accounting.

Here’s the best comment I’ve read today: “Why is it that I pay more for rent every month than the president pays on his federal taxes?” Not only dealing with the obvious sleeze but also the absurd inequity. I like a smart, sharp comment. I love one that’s a two-fer.

Considering how much money he owes in outstanding loans (in excess of $400 million), you have to wonder who actually holds that debt? For anyone else it would be considered a serious security threat, so who holds those debts?

Trump has exposed just how rigged our ‘capitalist’ system is. He will soon be in the trash bin of history but the system will stay rigged….unless.
