LeBron James goes to a shooting range and tries out their weapons. Wanted to see what it’s like to fire one. Left without buying.
I’ve enjoyed target shooting myself. Surprise, surprise: Having an interest in firing a weapon at a target doesn’t automatically mean hypocrisy in not wanting school kids gunned down. Thinking is hard, but it can be done.
@Andylit: I’d like to ride in a tank and fire it once, but that doesn’t mean I want one in my driveway. Neither do I think anyone else should have one in their driveway either.
The NRA interpretation of the second amendment is a lie. The congressman is lying about representing the people who elected him. The gun manufacturers are lying about not being able to control these weapons, license them or track them. And the right-wing keeps marching for their lies
Somehow I feel like these kids are being used for some nefarious reason. Hyper-militarization of police perhaps? Who stands to make a killing selling military grade guns to the police with the blessing of the public? Nifty logo BTW.
You needn’t hate guns – just ignorant people – to want sensible gun ownership, safe regulation. I’ve been a hunter and gun owner for 63 years. Still own three. No assault weapons. No machine guns. No gonzo magazines.

And on the other side of the street is a group of children who’s sign reads “March for Our Lives!”

This is a great cartoon. It captures the brutish nature of gun proponents.

@ANDYLIT – Just keep ignoring the actions of thousands and thousands of ordinary Americans who will no longer accept the killing of school children!
