The RNC has recognized their error in judgement from the minute he was nominated. They went with the candidate that their base wanted, and their base is a bunch of nuts. The DNC made a bigger mistake. They went all out to defeat the candidate their base wanted. That’s a sure recipe for losing the general election. Hillary is quite unpopular with the general population, largely because the Republicans have conducted a 20 year long campaign against her. The Dems knew this, but assumed that anyone breathing could beat Trump. We’ll see in 2020 which party has learned their lesson.
