Write to your Congresspeople. Tell them to start getting serious. We have another downgrading of our financial rating coming unless they act before the first of January. 10% cuts across the board and tax increases on everyone may wake up the populace. Preserving the tax cuts for the ultra wealthy to create jobs abroad is silly.

Morty, as someone who’s had discussions with m5, I don’t consider him to be a troll, nor unwilling to support his arguments with evidence, etc.-I think we need more posters of this type, regardless of their leanings.-Even if he did work in a reference like that, it would be much more clever and subtle than the ZIT, Ima, zoid, and the others.

Congress agreed on this fiscal deadline 2 years ago.NOW they’re blaming the President because THEY couldn’t get off their butts and do their jobs.

“who’s responcible for the lack of a budget?”The bleeping useless US Senate! The Republicans HAVE sent house passed budgets to the Senate, over and over…they get tabled with no discussion…and definitely NO chance of an up or down vote.
