Of course he’s up early. There’s no school.

The funny thing about this strip is that the kids went back to school for their first term of the year yesterday (Monday).

This is set in the Southern Hemisphere where winter is summer. Summer holidays starting in January in Australia is like them starting in July here in the UK.
