No matter how well mannered your dog is, leaving him alone with a cheeseburger is still just asking for trouble…

Punishment is no kibble for a day!

Maybe if he gave Satch a plate of food too instead of eating front of him…..

You can push a dog just so far and no farther.

I loved the expression on Satch’s face in the last panel!

He shouldn’t have put the ketchup in the fridge…

At least Satch has a conscience……his guilty look. To bad he didn’t have the willpower to leave it alone….but heh!, he’s Canadian so what should Rob have expected?

That would be a mud burger, in Rob’s case!

They know they will get in trouble, yet…

My mother had the exact same experience except she was going for mayonnaise for the after thanksgiving turkey sandwich.

Regarding my previous comment…my mother’s event happened over 75 years ago, and I still remember and laugh over it.

This should teach to get those things before you put food on the plate.

When I forget to do that, I carry my plate with me. We have three cats.

Field Roast makes delicious plant based products without soy protein.

This is fairly likely with dogs, but we had one that was very well trained. Dad put him in the back of the pickup with the bags of meat from the butcher. The butcher thought the bags wouldn’t last to the end of the block. Dad said if the dog was told not to touch them, he’d be fine until they got home. And so it was. That dog was the most amazing animal we ever had. T

he way we lost him didn’t get told to me until two decades later (my folks instead just told me he ran away). Rest in peace, Tiger.

Satchel seems to get a free pass from many who perceive him as some sort of victim. But right here is the proof that he is as guilty as all get out when it comes to miscreant behavior.
