well, Your Honor, you’ve got to pay the bills and put bread on the table on way or another rather than think of your own time
Yup, that’s what they always think of….. “I wish I was fishing…”
Maybe the judge will just decide to retire right now, and the case will have to go to another court…
He’s probably thinking….‘why didn’t I see that earlier in the game???? I should go for coffee!’
Anybody remember the movie “Pride of St. Louis”? Dizzy Dean is on the mound, it’s in the late innings of an important game, and he calls time out to talk with his catcher. Shot goes to the stands where a young lady asks her beau what they’re talking about. “Oh, strategy, what to pitch next, that kind of thing.” (Paraphrased) Shot back on Dizzy talking to catcher: “Hey, is that shotgun of yours still for sale? I think I’d like to buy it. Wanted to let you know in case I missed you after the game.”
You’ve had it, girlie.
Judge Judy must think of soaking in the tub.
I’ve always thought that there was something fishy about this story arc.
Will Elly get a new job breaking big rocks into little rocks? Tune in tomorrow!

“He’s wishing he were in Scotland, fishing tonight.” — Camelot

Yo Judge, been there…done that.
The worst day fishing still beats the best day working!!
If truth be told…
When someone you admire appears to be deep in thought. he is probably thinking about lunch.—R.A. Heinlein
This is the second of two slams on judge this week. First he was declaring her testimony to be inadmissible because it was not on the police report, and then today he is thinking about fishing instead of the case before him. Usually the justice system takes a few humorous slams whenever Lynn Johnston went into a courtroom story and this one is no exception.
