Grandma’s furniture car is not very practical; especially the tires.

With Petey, less of anything is always better.

I love how Mr. Thompson drew cars.

I kept my kids busy on long trips by offering quarters for each different license plate they found. When I got really desperate, I offered $10 if anyone found an East Virginia. Unfortunately, my kids are smarter than I expected and it ruined the game.

“Aw, mom, you never let me chew my arm off…”

Is there any hope for Petey?

And some of them, like the Honda Element, look like General deGaulle’s hat.

A LOT of cars nowadays look like athletic shoes, or anyway look like they were designed by the same team.

I think maybe Petey needs blinders, like on a horse. The interior of the van has wisely been upholstered in beige to soothe him. Now get him to summarize his Zombie Toad saga to help ease his mind.

Side note: is it ironic that Petey likes all things beige, and yet sand is his (one of) nemesis? Oh the humanity!

A reviewer from Car and Driver magazine likened the shape of a Buick Encore to that of a potato.

Peter’s attempt at distraction from the delay caused by the traffic jam is weak. Petey knows, and responds accordingly, thus distressing Madeline.
