Buy her a bottle of Joy soap, and you’re halfway home.

It’s fun to daydream about, but we just can’t get along.

When it’s a family matter, Brad reverts to typical “big brother” humor. As “little sis,” Luann should be used to it by now….

Start with Tiffany, Luann. And add Shannon when you’re ready for the next step.

I realize that this comment is off-topic, but I just have to express myself— tonight, I have been watching a 1964 movie on YouTube. The title is “The Creeping Terror;” anyone who thinks that “Plan 9 From Outer Space” is the worst science-fiction film of all time had better take a good look at this one!

“World Peace” is a relative term. If viewed from within a thermonuclear conflict, we are currently living in Eden.If every international conflict were resolved, there would still be local issues, which if resolved would leave playground issues and so on.And after all that, we would have to decide to get rid of animals because all they do all day is eat each other or fight for breeding rights.

“There has never been a safer, more peaceful time on Earth than right now.”As long as you’re not a designated “military age male” and you don’t have one of Obama’s drones overhead.

World peace and humor? Sounds like some obscure extinct folk song band from the 60’s.

To quote myself: “There’ll be world peace when all lifeforms on earth are dead.” How do you like peace now, Luann?

Tell that to the Syrians. Or maybe the Libyans or Somali’s would like to hear that?

Just in time for the malls to get their jingle bells on. Sorry if this is a repeat. I’m not reading 50+ posts to see if it’s already been done.

That was my thought… Brad is a Republican. Not sure about Toni – she might be a Republican too. Brad would probabl;y say “We haven’t made enough drones yet to get world peace.”

world peace…not this year. syria, afghanistan, pakistan, india, eurozone economic unrest, uninhabited islands claimed by china, japan, korea, etc…okinawa, us election, and people believing the end of the world ends on 12/21/12..

World peace, um… I think we could just settle for “World Tolerance”… I think the writer’s trying to make a political point that both parties are never going to agree… I know Luann really wants a bottle of perfume… (I know Luann’s not “shallow”, but her usual fixation is on a boyfriend, she’s going to want something to attract him in…)… Myself, personally, I don’t like perfume…

I guess I flashed on “Independence Day” – what – 20 years ago. Space ships hover – flower children greet them on the roof…BLAM!!! – Ha Ha Ha. (everybody’s supposed to laugh). It was Bob Dole’s favorite movie.

“We were so widely seperated that it was probably pretty peaceful except for the big cats, wolves, bears, crocodiles and the like.”-Actually, we probably weren’t all that separated since humans tend to stay near each other. -I remember seeing something postulating the thought most of humanity lived near the tidal zone in south east Africa for a spell. That it would have had food when much of the continent didn’t.-Anyhoo, that would have had them/us along a length rather than an area.
