It might be easier to sleep WITHOUT the glasses on. It always was for me.

I do like Wintergreen Tic Tacs, but not so much as a sleep aid. Monty, does the placebo effect have an effect when you know it’s the placebo effect? —Apparently, for Monty it does.

I always figured Monty ingested a daily psychedelic.

My Dad was in pretty good physical shape until a few months before his death at the age of 89. Nor was he a hypochondriac. Nevertheless, well before he passed away, the doctors had him taking no less than SEVENTEEN pills a day! We’ve just become medication-crazy in this day and age.

As for the placebo effect, it could be part of a Pavlovian response. Take a pill, go to sleep. We can train ourselves to do just about anything.

I always ask my doctor for the extra-strength placebos.

I have a silly question. What does Monty do for a living?

Monty’s pills were prescribed by a Meddick.I think I would sleep better outside, in a round enclosed porch. I call it the gazebo effect.
