The Shield of Boringness makes people boring.

Dad’s beard looks like a tasty main course …

Looks like the kind of family that likes their lawns to be natural and organic (full of weeds). I’m sure Marigold would be willing to supply (magic) fertilizer.

I like it. I can’t tell if they are stunned or they can’t really tell what she is because of the Shield of Boringness (forgive my accent).

Marigold didn’t exactly state what part of the lawn she snacked on. I just hope it wasn’t the garden bed.

So even with the shield of boringness . . . . they might wonder why is this adult playing with my child?

Geeks have their own Shield of Boring; they’re probably shorting each other out. MHN looks a lot smaller looking up at adults rather than down at Phe.

My dog eats grass and still has room for her real food (I wonder if the grass tastes better)

Don’t just stand there Mom, say something to Phe’s friend.

But is MHN (I like that by the way) an adult, or just an older child?

They’re not going to be very good at small talk with all the big stuff to talk about.

I guess they’re okay with that unicorn.

I like how Marigold let Pheobe share with mom and dad. No secrets from them. P.s. I think they’re both pretty cool for accepting her

Marigold must be working her magic, because Dad is treating her eating part of the lawn as a normal thing.
