my wife does the same thing when we are watching a late night program.

Why didn’t I think of that 50 years ago?

Now will he sit there all night with her head in his lap? If he does, you know he’s a keeper.

So will friendship and a comfy lap, and (I’m told) fatigue from dealing with a teenaged daughter and her younger sister.

If they get married, the magic might disappear. It’s working; let’s not mess it up.:)

So many good friendships are ended in a ceremony.

… especially every four years.

Not sure why people insist on marriage for everyone! I think Phil and Val have figured it out and have it down by now.

Such nice people in such a nice comic. It is a guaranteed nice spot in my day.

I don’t think Val is the type who would “live” with a man without marriage. She would want to set a good example for her daughters.

No real anniversary either for them. Hubby and I are married 31 years together and this counts.

I think is sweet. Val trust Phil and gets rest. If I tried to rest on my hubby I would start sweating. After 36 years in aircraft work hot summer days he gets very warm.

I recently dated a woman who suffers from CFS. Some days taking a nap together on the couch was considered a date.

Val works, cares for her girls, cooks, cleans house, and spends time with her boyfriend. No wonder she’s so fatigued every night.

Enough said.
