I might add, I’m totally against the tremendous increase in “civilian” drone use, just from the standpoint of making our airspace more dangerous for civil aviation.

While Obama’s directions HAVE reduced the “collateral damage” from armed drones overseas, I still don’t like them, just like carpet bombing from 30,000 feet. TARGET CONFIRMATION is the only way to reduce “collateral damage”. Sorry, war without risk to the aggressor, is war totally lacking any moral foundation.

    Jackson49 has it:

    Support the drones.

    These drones don’t run.

America, drone it or leave it.

    FreeDrones ain’t free.

Beating a dead drone to death! You’ve probably bored more people to death droning on and on about the drones than the drones have in the whole droning war.Groan!

    Today’s news … indiscriminate drones?

IRAQ: Three bombs on motorcycles went off near a market and police station in Iraq on Friday, killing at least eight people and injuring at least 38, officials said. 7/30/12. This must be okay?

    Ima:

first off, our “week long war” started in 1991, and GHW screwed up by first starting it, then NOT using the opportunity to support Shia in the south, like the Kurds in the north, and possibly letting THEM get rid of Saddam FOR US, in 1991!!

second: I"m transcribing some of my tapes from ‘Nam, 1966-67, and gee, “Charlie” was using IEDs, and attacks on civilians and the “innocent”, there as well, but the concept goes back to when Joshua used a prostitute to “booby trap” her own people at Jericho, “insurgents” , terrorism, and sabotage aren’t anything “new”.

^Brief question? IF a person has renounced their ACQUIRED American citizenship, is living in a foreign land, plotting to continue attacks to kill Americans, working for an organization that HAS killed American civilians, are they still “American citizens”??? I still don’t like drone attacks that kill “bystanders”, but trying to say Obama is bad because he wiped out a scum and his son, who WERE plotting attacks on Americans, I can’t get to “defensive” of THEM! Odd indeed it’s the righties, that now use this as an attack on Obama.

Silly right wing word games. It’s not worth my time to shred your sorry excuse for logic or your selective view of history. Most right wingers, when confronted with facts, just disappear from the thread. I have no use for Obama or most Democrats, but he will win. I’ve been posting that since this time in 2010.

4die in bomb attacks; judge assassinated Bombers killed four people in two Iraqi cities and gunmen assassinated a judge, officials said Sun-day, as al-Qaida’s affiliate ramped up attacks six months after the last U.S. troops withdrew.

Three coordinated bomb attacks within minutes of each other Sunday morning hit the central city of Tikrit, a provincial official said. A civilian walking by was killed, and two others were wounded.Farther south, three policemen died when a suicide car bomb and three roadside bombs exploded at a security checkpoint Saturday night in Samarra, a police official said. Roadside bombs are so much more select..
