The right are no angels themselves. For one of several examples, Weapons of Mass Destruction. Also, W’s Iraq War kill 1000 more Americans than the terrorists did on 9/11.

OK, I like this one! One herbivore tied to one omnivore. Sounds like my wife and me.

they say that a Prius is no more efficient than a Hummerreason being, the Prius drivers drive them much harderwith the psychology that they’re doing more to save the environment by driving morekinda like you care about oral health so much you want to clean your teeth vigorouslyso you brush harder until the enamel comes right offand you guessed it, the teeth fall out anyway

Biofuels could be a good thing if we would only quit using foodstuffs to make it and instead make it out of kudzu, and other weeds.

Hey, Nabu…thanks for your exposition, although I don’t totally agree with you. About the cruel stupidity of turning food corn into gasoline…that qualifies as a crime against humanity, from where I sit…butt(!) I am more sentimentalist…or humane…than I am scientist.

Several years ago, corn burning stoves were being sold in this area, ie to burn cheap corn. You guessed it, those stoves are now being scrapped!

Should hitch the wagon to a donkey and an elephant and see what happens! They’d both strip down the wagon and sell it to China for parts.

It’s good that you let the pent-up hatred inside you vent a little from time to time. Otherwise, you might explode.

@ Nabuquduriuzhur“The idea of biofuels is indeed a stupid one. "To shorten up your post; I agree. Day was I could drive 1252 miles of I-95 with regular gas and get an average 26 mpg. The gummint stepped in and deemed I should use 10% ethanol at a higher price, only to find that my mileage decreased by 12% on average, same road, same speed, same everything.. This is called ‘the greening of America’ & ‘economizing’? All invented in the minds of nanny-crats that have no idea of the practicalities of life outside of the Washington Beltway. A pox on them and their sort.
