As someone who has no kids except the furry kind (and no mom, no grandma’s and as of two weeks ago not even an aunt) this actually brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Graham Harrop, I needed that today.
This is so sweet, brings a tear to my eye, so nice to see a “softer” side to “grumpy” Chesney. I would love to scoop him up in my arms and just hug him – if he’d let me ;)
Indeed, those of us with a rescue or former shelter kitty really have no clear idea of what they may have experienced.
My girl is very frightened at times by small gestures. If I walk too quickly behind her she runs like a bullet. I think the former owners may have kicked her from behind.
