    The whole presidential election thing is not looking good for the republicans this year. I think we should forgo all of the expense and hoopla of both parties, parties. We would save a lot of money and time if we just have the Supreme Court declare a Barack Oboma president again.

    There IS enough incompetence to go around, so why do Romney and the Republicans want to corner the whole market???

    Anybody seen the POTUS here lately? Or is he safely stowed away in Toles’ “Obunker”? So far this election year, the appearance count is:

    Romney slammed = 27Obama coddled = 7

    Note also that W was slammed 26 times in the same period of his first term (January-April, 2004).

    Biased much, Tom?

    Periodic updates to follow.

    @ne7minder55

    I’ve followed Toles for decades, since his days in Buffalo. He used to be pretty clever. Believe the numbers or not, it took about five minutes to do the count right here on this site. The easy target here is whoever Toles picks. Which explains why “Gilligan the Talking Coat Hanger” remains out of sight.

    Toles is perfectly happy to attack Obama when necessary. But the Republicans are such a vast pit of anti-intellectual, profits-over-people hypocrisy this year, it’s hard not to aim more at them. I love the side comment in the cartoon. Nerf.

    Tom, great ‘toon. So true. How can a reasonable person look at today’s GOP and not wonder why they are rejecting our culture of compassion, generosity, etc.?

    Glad we agree for once.

    Gas is down what 15 to twenty cents. When Bush left it was something like $1.75 it is now around $3.50. You do the math. If it falls a buck and a quarter then you might have something. See:http://www.randomuseless.info/gasprice/gasprice.htmlExcept for a brief spike at $4.40 a gallon gas prices was great before Obama.

    Mike, are you arguing that Romney isn’t in trouble with Hispanics and Women? Boy, are YOU in the Republican bubble. Check the polls, it’s not hard.

    Mitt would be very bad for the poor and middle class. The rich would make out like the bandits they are.
