This one’s actually kind of true. During the recession, illegal immigration slowed.

The only positive side-effect . . . . albeit it will be tromped by new hordes in search of free medical care of 0bamacare . . . .

Fox News has reported that illegals here in the USA have been leaving—-voluntarily—in numbers just under the new ones coming in….they apparently do not know from experience about the fewer jobs due to our US recession and smallest in history “recovery”…..

If you want to stop illegal immigration, prosecute businesses who hire illegals.

The lingering Bush recession has been successful.

Obama has beefed up the border patrol and increased deportations over the bush reign. But facts do make it hard to bash Obama.

Vent: I don’t know… On some levels I think obamanomics helped, but on more levels it hurt. Any time any federal government intervenes in private business, recovery slows. But even absent of any federal intervention, I think we would not have become anywhere close to Mexico. We may actually have been better off than we are now. But… they don’t issue crystal balls, do they?

IT was Bushonomics that stopped them from coming over. Now that things are recovering, it’s that Obama quadrupled the border police. What we actually NEED is immigration reform, but it won’t be coming from the GOP. THey can’t even pass a highway biil.

Job lost to Bush policies did far more to cut immigration than building a fence. Hmm, built with Chinese steel, with contracted workers who weren’t U.S. citizens (the ones who saw even more of their jobs disappear under Bush.)

On February 12, 2008 The New York Times had an article about Mexicans leaving Arizona because of the decling economy. Who was president on February 12, 2008?

I guess Bush was responsible for nothing. In fact, you could call it 8 years of irresponsibility.

I wonder if Mexico has Border patrol agents trying to stop US Citizens from crossing over to get cheaper health care.People already go to Tia Juana to buy affordable medicine, and have Dental and surgury done.

As noted, Bush and company seem to accept responsibility for nothing but clearing the brush from that movie set he called a ranch.

You have a lot to say. I suggest submitting an editorial to Yahoo or Forbes online. They do publish. I would really like the commentors, here, to offer more ideas on how to fix the current situation. I am an Independent because I do not buy the D or R party line.
