Hey Roland – that’s the unfortunate thing about the truth – sometimes it’s inconvenient to the story you want to write. I’d say by Roland’s body language he realises that he boobed.

The Taliban wouldn’t blow up any outfit to which Hedley is attached. His value as a living, breathing, annoying nuisance is too great.

In his day, Gen. William T. Sherman hated reporters. I wonder what he’d say about the bunch we have now.

Having met reports while on patrol, we take away their phones, lap tops, an I-Pads and in some cases their pencils an pads too!

I wondered about that – I know from my Marine cousin that cells(if they even carried them) were supposed to be turned off, and some even went so far as to remove the battery.

Geraldo has long been the biggest ego, and phony, in broadcasting.(His is definitely NOT “journalism”.) While he’s only typical of Fux news staff today, in ‘Nam, he would have been in a much less “technical” era, but much less technical means would have taken him out for what he’s done, in several zones.

Geraldo once asked the son of the Shah of Iran when he thought democracy might be restored to his country! No wonder he works for Fixed News.

Isn’t Roland based on Geraldo? Reaching way back in my memory I seem to think Trudeau introduced him back when Geraldo was becoming very popular (decades ago)
