My maternal grandparents had a Siamese who loved to play fetch. He had a certain catnip mouse which he’d bring to grandpa, who’d toss it and the cat would bound after it and bring it back for another round.

We had a cat once who fetched baby ground moles one day from our next door neighbors and some how got in and out of our front screen door, and had5 or 6 of them hid behind one of our big overstuffed chairs in the living room . Thank God they were dead.

When cats bring home disgusting critters all they want is praise. I had a cat that brought into the house anything from a June Bug to a Katiedid.

The farm I grew up on had (probably still has) an awfully high mortality rate for cats. Out there, cats fetch nothing. They get fetched. By coyotes. Ah, memories of all those burials.

Taylor Swift recently released a YouTube video that showed her cat, a Scottish fold named Meredith, fetching.

I had a cat once that would fetch the little ball off a old sock bootie. She was a good cat. Funny to watch.

Did you eat the weasel, or did the cat. I just wondered what it tastes like.

One of my cats LOVES to fetch. I can throw something as simple as a scrunched-up napkin, and he’ll keep bringing it back to me until he tires out!
