When I visited Cuba with my X, we took a little pig home for our party. The guys chased it around the yard while I took photos and after it was killed, gutted and hung overnight in the bathtub, we seasoned it and took it to a bakery which had a very large oven. I later read up on brick laying and built an oven of firebrick in our yard in IL. The X was a welder and he made the grates and pan – quite a neighborhood party! After I divorced him those bricks became part of the base of a waterfall I built in my flower garden.

I didn’t go to the State Fair this year, but usually they have the racing pigs that go around a short track to get Oreo cookies after the finish line.
