Isn’t the gag of “up to” getting a little old this week?

Red must be reading the continental version of the Superman comics, what with the metric measurements and the French road trip with Lex Luthor! Can brie and baguettes be far behind?

Yeah, I really like Red and Rover, but in five decades of comics reading I’ve never seen a writer, in one week, do literally the same joke over and over and over and over (so far). When will the over and over be over?

It’s not only the same joke… it’s pretty much the same strip.  On all four days the first panel has only had very small changes in Red sitting on his 1960’s chair. And between yesterday and today both panels are almost identical, with small differences such as Rover’s tongue. It’s like playing “spot the differences”.

@comicgos – I suspect somebody is on vacation this week and this is either their quick work ahead or somebody hired to fill in.

Ummm-lets not forget that the metric system is used everywhere else but here (USA), so he is just using the system in France that the French use.

Unfortunately, this is what Brian was producing just before he bailed on “Adam@home” And yet, IMO, this is still better than what Rob Harrell has done with “Adam.”
