    I’m trying to remember how much I paid for mine. $15 or $20 a piece. The goose eggs were a lot more.

    I’ll bet that’s what agony aunts actually think while dishing out their sage advice.

    @MARGUERITEM: What a pity those beautiful eggs won’t last forever.

    I vaguely remember something in Pink Flamingos: “Babs, when is the egg man coming?”

    Part of the fun of coming to this page is seeing how many Fabergé eggs will be here each day.

    Or maybe it should be called “Advice for the Unaware as to how clueless they really are.”

    Funny, no mention of the mental giants on MSNBC. Air America had some ‘windbags’. Unfortunately for them, they were just repeating what was said on the morning talk shows so nobody listened.

    And who can forget Bill Maher using mysogynistic words about women. Of course, he’s a million dollar donor to the Obama campaign, so the main stream media pretty much ignored it.

    There was a post once of someone that emptyed out eggs, and then with a laser etched away parts of the egg shells for artistic designs. No dye.

    It is unfortunate that politics do influence our lives.Gates was once approached by political fundraisers and were told that he had better things to do with his money.At the same time, Enron was a generous donor.Q1: Who was investigated for being a monopoly?Q2: Who should they have been investigating?

    The insides have been emptied out before the decorating. They then last forever if handled carefully.

    Pysanky can be done with whole, raw eggs. After the dying is complete, it is then coated with clear lacquer, sealing it. The insides shrink to a hard, marble-size ball, and they will last forever. Don’t cook or try to eat even messed up attempts as pysanky dye is toxic.

    See? Calvin is all ready with answers for any possible question.

    ++++

    I know a psychologist who threatens to use “realist” responses to his patients:

    “Get over it,”

    “Life is hard. Deal with it,”

    “Have a tissue, you big crybaby.”

    and so on.
