Susan N. You are correct. NPG is working to reverse the trend and move to a Negative Population Growth model that could give the earth a better future.
I remember when our population went to 3 billion and the doom-sayers were whining the usual rant from the 1700’s. But we’ve more than doubled our population and without the global tragedy the doom-sayers hope for. Any problem technology creates, technology can fix.
if i remember correctly, some wit mentioned that a human and a virus are the only 2 lifeforms on this planet that practice a similar pattern: they both pollute their environment, killing everything until they drown in their own poisons.
Interesting that the same companies that a couple years ago were saying “AGW” was a fraud, are now claiming to be the good guys fighting the progress of it. If you’re not an “environmentalist”, then stop breathing air, as you obviously don’t need it.
The same could be said about the government – with its military waste disposal issues. And not to mention that our government is really owned by… multinational corporations.
