    Deva (or devah) is male. Devi is female. You may be confusing the Hindu word with Italian “diva”.

    That would be diva. Deva is the Buddhist term for any supernatural being. It’s just that words ending in A tend to be considered female in English (which is probably just for convenience since we don’t have gender-specific pronouns). One wonders if his tech support name was “Peggy”.

    No, Ganesha is only red in some paintings. And it’s a very magical mouse: can you see how pointy the surfboard’s “nose” is? ;-)
