Not the ending I envisioned. Well done Lincoln.

Like the phrase goes: you win some, you lose some. And yet, Nate still feels like a winner and Gina a loser.

Nice resolution. I just didn’t see Lincoln letting Nate fall victim to Gina’s plans for a Reign of Terror. He has never hesitated to pop Nate’s balloon whenever his hubris gets out of control but making Nate Gina’s beyotch? Not going to happen.

Every class had a Gina. Mine lives just down the road,alone.

Well, I got a smile out of this one.

Hey!! At the very end of today’s panels, Nate is looking dead-on at us! Can’t say we see that much!! THAT’S the shot Nate always hopes Picture Taking Guy will get, but NEVER does!! Yes, maybe a harbinger of things to come, still difficult to accurately “call” this one: wonder how many people out there have “bets” going, I read something yesterday about a nickel being on. Haw! HAW!!

This reminds me when Nate got a better score then Gina , which was a mistake, Gina told on him and got detention. Nate said it was the happiest day of life.

Finally it’s over it lasted for like 2 weeks I couldn’t even sleep

So when are Nate and Gina getting married?

Why are swarms of gnats coming out of Nate’s ear in the second panel?

Whether Nate blows it and gets detention or not, the shot of Gina in P3 with that flush of embarrassment on her face, and those fists clenched at her side, is priceless! Maybe she’ll cold-cock Francis and get a detention for that, haha.

What can I say, Nate – good for you. Mr. Pierce – your moral right is preserved – and thank you for a good storyline. I hope Nate learns a lesson, here – if you exercise good behaviour, then life does get easier. As for Gina, she’s just gotta learn to be a nicer person and shelve that contempt she has for everyone else.

For once, why don’t you, Gina?

Mr. Peirce, I really enjoyed this story! I even like Gina’s face in the final panel (I think she needs a little more red!). Anyway, I’m surprised Gina didn’t get suspended. Nate & Gina are my favorite characters in this strip is because they are 2 complete opposites of each. I like to see both of these characters as friends just like Nate told that Arthur (I think that’s his name.) after the bully pushed Artur (I think that’s his name).

Nate seems like doesn’t care a hill of beans about class (Which was like me when I was his age!), and Gina wants to press herself as being the best because I guess her older brothers turned out to be jocks that didn’t do well in high school or college (Heck, even her Grandfather seems to enjoy robbing the cradle!). And besides, I guess Gina knows how expensive to get into college these days and Gina must be one sad and lonely girl. I knew girls like her in high school.

Finally, if this comic strips into a format like “For Better or worse” or “Gasoline Alley”, I think it would be a riot seeing Nate and Gina going out on a date when those hormones really start kicking in at the age of 15-18.
