My dad used to sing the “Mairzy Dotes:” song to us kids ad nausea when we were kids. Now anytime I hear it, I get a smile on my face and think about what a funny guy my dad was.
My Jr. Hi-aged daughter stumbled on the walk home from school one day, and her backpack full of textbooks slammed her into the ground, hard. We got the Principal to issue her a second set of books to keep at home. Those things are heavy!
