After he tries it once, he may change his mind. Besides, it’s hard to be a pleisiosaur on dry land.

There were times growing up in the country when after being gone all day playing with neighbor boys in the summer, that mom would actually vacuum us off before letting us in the house to eat supper. Fun memories. Minimized the mud formation in the washing machine.

It’s “dry” because no water is involved. Only chemicals like tetrachloroethylene or hydrocarbons.

It’s funny he always forgets how much he loves baths until he’s actually in the tub! (And Mom forgets what a disaster zone the bathroom is when he’s done…)

Calvin’s hatred of baths reminds me of a story from my third grade reader long ago. This little girl refused to take a bath and she just go dirtier and dirtier. Then she became so caked with dirt, her parents didn’t know what to do. Then they came up with an idea. The planted radish seeds on her dirty arms. Sometime later, the tops of the radishes popped out of the dirt on her arms. The little girl then said if she was so filty that radishes grew out of her she’d take a bath. She had to take a shower and used two bars of soap to get completly clean. So that’s how Calvin might end up.

Your comment was rude, disgusting and completely uncalled for . . . therefore, I have flagged you and hope that everyone else who reads this will too! This kind of language is NOT wanted — nor will it be tolerated — here!!!!!

If Calvin actually starts using that thing, he will learn in very short order that there are parts of the human male anatomy that should be kept way far away from the business end of an operating vacuum cleaner. "Nuff said ’bout ’dat……

Flagged the bum also. Calvin might be exhausted by the time he’s done with the vacuum.

My understanding is that the solvent does not wet the cloth. I once saw an old newsreel of people walking through a pool of the stuff… as dry as they went up the stairs as when they went down the stairs.
