NOOOOOOO! How could this happen? RIP HAYWIRE A HOUSE-HUSBAND? Don’t try to Mr. and Mrs. Smith your way out of this one, Dan, because THIS is just too cruel! The whole focus of the Rip/Cobra relationship was its ambiguity and unresolved sexual tension.

HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US?

“Finally I won’t be an illegitimate ward.” , TNTs’ reaction and Cobra’s way too cool handling of Rip’’s discomfort is perfect. The more things change the better this strip gets. Onward and upward Mr. Thompson!

Dan, you da man! @Adam First: sexual tension is only good if it eventually resolves – only to start mounting again! Marriage – the greatest challenge and adventure of all, especially when DANGER is the family business!

Never forget what Rip said in his earliest strip: “Love is the dangerest game!” :-) Anyway, you guys have to watch THIN MAN movies; I’m telling you, marriage only makes things more adventurous in the long run!

…And so, the pre-wedding day jitters begin….Dr. McLuvya would have a field day with this moment…had he not been zapped by his own evil death ray.(At least, I think that’s what happened to him!)

I have to ask….Where is C-4??? The puppy needs to be by his dads (TNT) side here. Anyway…HUGPOUNCESZZZ and I hope everyone had as marvelous a Christmas as Cobra did!

@Linda Dean,As I sit eating an open-faced sandwich made with Bacon/Pineapple Sausage, I’d say I do love the idea of bacon canapés.As for the marriage, I guess that I trust Mr. Dan T. to not lose the heart of his characters while still allowing them to grow. I’m staying tuned and expecting good times. I’m assuming the wedding will be a big blow up … out. I meant blow out.

I love where this is going. I forgot, though, what the kid’s name is. Someone remind me?
