Toby has his blue shirt… but this time it’s not a long-sleeved one, it’s just like his usual red shirt, only blue. So… Greg, do you personally color the sunday strip, or is there a colorist that does all the strips according to a table of colors? (I ask because it is my understanding that that is how many comic strip authors work: they color the Sunday strips like they have done for decades, but a separate person hired by the syndicate colors the dailies.)
Hilarious! I’ve done that to my dad, same reaction except I had to go to my room. To be fair, I think he was more ticked at the bald spot on his forearm, which took a month to grow back, than the rude awakening. How was I supposed to know that a static shock would torch his hair?
Years ago my sister had a cat, my mother just bought a new shag carpet, & I kept my 45 records in a metal box. Cat sees box…trots across new rug to investigate shiny box…..cat gets about an inch away and…ZAPPP!! Blue spark from the cats’ nose to the box. Didn’t see the cat for two days. Didn’t like the box either.

I like how Toby and Eddie are working together now rather than always fighting.

I’ve seen blue sparks arc between fingers an inch apart, so there’s more charge in static than you might think.
