I am a Hindu – but, to me too (old fashioned!), it HAS to be Christmas – and it IS Merry!Perhaps is is because I am in India?

Good morning gang. - A Festive Kwanzaa, Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to one and all.

I love this strip today. Makes me remember all those Christmas days when I was a child and when my children were small and the magic of the season. I now have grandchildren, although most of them are too big to believe the ones that do bring back all that magic. Merry Christmas to all and my wish for a Happy and Prosperous New year.

if I could only have a moment like Lizzie … my family doesn’t want anything to do with me though...It has come to my attention, that over in Chatham Islands, New Zealand, it’s 13h45 ahead of the UTC and thus 22h45 ahead of ME in the Eastern Time Zone. That makes it 5:15am there, on Sunday December 25th… and thus…

My apologies, Chatham Island is only 18h45 ahead of Toronto time.

I want to get one of those phones for when i dial up those 900 numbers.

Elizabeth that is nice to get those hugs and kisses from grandparents from the phone. Mine are gone.

A bit of a small linquistic lesson. In olde English the words God rest ye Merry Gentlemen did not have the same meanings they have today. To Rest was to Keep, and Merry meant Mighty, as in the Merry Men. So it’s God keep ye Mighty Gentlemen. whether the comma is after the ye or after Mighty. So a Mighty Christ’s Mass to one and all.
