Poor Quill. This is going to be a long flight.

Yeah. Tiffany can’t seem to take “sod off!” for an answer.

She’s sort of like that gum you can’t scrape off of the bottom of your shoe.

Tiff is as dense as lead. I bet she gets bad headaches from that wind whistling through that space between her ears!

Tiffany is acting especially desperate. Given that she usually has every male student in the high school following her, I wondered what happened between her and Quill that he’s not so fond of her. He kinds treats her like that annoying kid that innocently pesters everyone .. just that attitude of polite tolerance…

Isn’t Tiffany on a TSA no-fly list yet?

She’ll never notice him sleeping

i’m guessing that there will be some kind of incident during the flight, maybe a hijack or a plane wreck… or a disruptive celebrity

This story line is waaaaaaaay too lame

I see an unknown celebrity being ejected from the flight before take off, to the cheers of the remaining passengers :)

Quill, wear your headphones and pretend to watch a movie, either on your player, or the in-flight one Or wear your sleeping eye mask along with your earplugs..

Ugh! Tiff is like fingernails scratching on the old green chalkboard for me….EEEEE…..gets me on my nerves even though she is just a cartoon character. How does she do that??

Sleeping pill time for that flight.

Tiff will never add Quill’s scalp to her belt by such a blunt approach. Can she play “subtle”? Or is it “game over” already?

It’s odd that Tiffany could even know beforehand where Quill’s seat is so she could choose to sit next to him…

( check the where-abouts of Robert Downey … its BEEN a “while”, he’s ‘due’ for some “press” !).Baldwin would overshadow her with HIS greatness..Any wagers, Quill pays extra – gets “up-graded” to first class seating — QUICK ?

Great comeback in the last panel. Quill tells her that a conversation involves listening. He’s saying that he won’t be listening and that she’s not been listening when she repeatedly cuts him off by her monologue.

Quick, Quill…change flights.

How about Tiffany being the “celebrity” that gets pulled off the plane? Don’t you think she’s sufficiently obnoxious and self-absorbed for it to happen?

Let’s hope the TSA decides to pull her out of line for a stripe search, which will make her miss her flight and force her to get a later one for Quill’s sake.

you know if Tiff was really THAT important, she would have a first class seat. And this whole thing is just a set-up made by Elwood so he can get closer to Luann.

Tiff is still under 18. Where are her parents? You don’t let a kid go to LA on her own for a movie. Quill at least has an uncle there who will be picking him up at the airport.

She is only interested in Quill because he is the cutest boy in school and she wants the eye candy. I am glad to see he has some taste.

I can’t decide if Tiffany is persistent or clueless. Like “if I keep talking, I won’t have to hear anyone tell me I’m annoying”

I want to get back to the TJ/Ann Effiel battle.

A storyline is not effective if it is too predictable.

Whew, this girl is an example of what you get after a child is subjected to beauty pagents. They just don’t get that they aren’t ‘special’. She’s almost certainly a Toddlers and Tiaras graduate. Soooo full of herself.

Rosa is the kind of girl you bring home to meet mom…Tiffany is the girl you bring home for DADDY, and Crystal——you take her anywhere but home.

Too funny, Dave! I bet there’s a Doctoral dissertation in there – or a Master’s, at the very least.

Maybe Quill can plant a box cutter in Tif’s carry on.

Change flights, Quill. It’s not too late.

I smell a rat!

Quill has less interest in Tiffany, it would seem, than I have in Twilight. He sees right through her transparent head into the sad bleakness within. Tiff is pathetic and lonely, surrounded only by sycophantic female wannabes – the “mean girls’ club” if you will – and unprincipled, testosterone-laced adolescents who see her as a conquest. Yech. If Quill is true to the character that has thus far been implied, Tiff has less chance than she has clue. However, as someone mentioned, if she can’t have what she wants, hurting someone else is the next best thing. In the end, poor Tiff will lose again, but she will most likely press blithely forward in a state of perpetual denial. We all know a Tiffany or two – which is what makes her character so exquisitely discomfiting. The Old Wolf has spoken.

Change tickets at the last minute!

Remember when Bernice and Luann called Quill, pretending to be Tiffany? I wonder if that will come back to bite them in the butt.

Is she wearing a jumpsuit or a elf costume? Very odd!

Back to TJ and AE: After a weekend of deep thought and analysis, I think Sweet Ann will come to respect and give in to TJ. Ann has an “Authoritarian mindset” (see Abraham Maslow), that understands only dominance & submission. If she can’t dominate, she’ll submit. The only thing at this stage she can NOT do is treat all people equally, all people with respect. TJ will end up being her boss, and she’ll fall for him. And he’ll enjoy that. But then— I’ve never yet been correct.

She’s flying Obtuse Airways.

Quill buys another ticket in an earlier flight, and tells Luann to take “his flight”… and Tiff would have to sit with Luann, than see Quill and his uncle waiting for Luann ;) that would make her FURIOUS!!!

Tiff is going to be so disappointed. Quill will ignore her all the way there and all the way back. While they’re there, Tiff will learn that she didn’t get a part in the movie at all, and that the Star character bears no resemblance to her whatsoever.

Two great put-downs from Quill but they go right over Tiff’s head.

“…wearing Polka Dot’s what?”.….use your imagination!

They did show each other’s tickets and discovered they are seatmates – several weeks ago.
