The “Occupy” movement has been remarkablly orderly and decent. Most are middle class people, not the raving hippies that the right-wing media have tried to portray. Unlike your threat, the "Occupiers were in a public place and not interfering with traffic (unlike the cops). Perhaps you would enjoy your house seized by a bank using fraudulent and forged documents? It has happened. Perjhaps you would enjoy the cops kicking in your front door and smashing your windows because some politician told them to do so? It has happened.Do you really enjoy power of the rich over power of the people? Do you enjoy the sound of goose-stepping jack boots and cries of Sieg heil! It has happened.
Obama to the right of Reagan? Perhaps when you put them in a mirror. Obama has passed nearly everything that was on the “progressive” agenda during his first two years of office (stimulus, nationalized health care, financial reregulation, increased fuel economy standards), all without making any substantive policy compromises, and yet people like you think he has been “too conservative.” The Democratic party pays too much attention to people like you who are never satisfied even after getting everything you want.
