The US is the only country in the industrialized world where a major party has denial of anthropogenic global warming as part of its platform. The only one. Conservatives elsewhere in the world are busily supporting efforts to stop it, because, you know, they’d like to actually CONSERVE their countries? They can also make some money out of it: Germany is hot on the solar tech and wind tech.
