There’s a line in the movie, ‘The Usual Suspects’ that goes something like this:

“The greatest trick The Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn’t exist.”

I disagree; the greatest trick The Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that Jesus Christ was HIS kid.

Labels please.Who are the slaughtered?Who are the lions?this cartoon is without sense unless it is a satanic parallel world……calling good “evil” and calling evil "good as the Bible prophesied.

disgustedtaxpayer has a point here. Unless you actually mean to depict people as a blood-thirsty fang-toothed gang who love watching people die, make your point clear or you look like a hater.

Oh, yes, IrishEddie. He certainly didn’t protect the moneyed powers and he DID believe in taking care of the poor and sick.

“disgustedtaxpayer has a point here. Unless you actually mean to depict people as a blood-thirsty fang-toothed gang who love watching people die, make your point clear or you look like a hater.”If you watched the GOP debates, you’d know Danziger most likely meant to depict them blood thirsty. Someone actually cheered at the notion of an uninsured person dieing.

@Stephen Runnels: Ordinarily, in the course off the discussion of ideas and policies, your question “What evidence do you have to back up your remark?” is appropriate. However, you asked it of towersomething. So unrealistic of you.

The thing about towerThat I find strange:Teabaggers give’m a nickel a postAnd he gives them change.

Satire is often meant to be offensive or “disgusting”. because it is a comment of a situation that the satirist finds offensive or “disgusting.” Say what you will about Glenn McCoy’s cartoons of pro-choice supporters (among whom I number myself) stomping fetuses with hobnail boots, it gets the viewpoint across.

Obviously some of you cons don’t get that the toon is basically talking about the hypocrisy of the teapublicans. They preach, “pro-life” until the kid is born then it’s let ’em die, kill-kill-kill.

Actually, I thought the ’toon was a bit of an understatement.

This toon is only true if you replaced “tea party” with the Black Panther Party. They are the only folks that I’ve heard who are crying for blood in the streets. However, you can’t speak out against a group like that, or else you’ll get labeled a “racist.”

It looks like a bloody Roman arena when Christians were persecuted by the Roman empire….between 100 AD and 400 AD….-but who does the cartoonist say they are? Who is killing and who is being killed.I see no indication that the ‘toon depicts “uninsured” victims being rounded up by Big Government and killed to please crowds……who have been clearly “Labelled” as “Tea Party” members.-are the killer lions representing Congress/Prez?-and you Haters of Tea Party members, show evidence that the “uninsured” are refused healthcare when they go to any ER in America! You can’t, because there is a federal law requiring care for the uninsured.
