Of course the next step will be a croc tryting to melt so that he can pass through the bars, too.

@Trusted Mech As a Floridian, I know several people who have bounced handgun rounds off gators’ tough backs. I assume crocs would be similar. Good thing these ones are standing up, I guess.

These crocs remind me of Wile E. Coyote. Why not eat the cake themselves if they’re hungry? Got enough money to live in a house? They maybe you have enough to go to the butcher shop… of course, finding a butcher shop that sells zebra meat…

I wonder how long they waited there to see if Zebra would change his mind. Long enough for the cake to completely melt, apparently.

If the barbarians (I mean crocs) are at the gate, how does Zebra leave his home without being attacked?

Pastis said he had a few more Croc strips before they threw him in the pokey. He’s gone way past a few, too many with this one. Throw da bum in the slammer!

Learning from their mistake, the crocs return the next day with a different flavor cake.
