Mother Nature seems to rely heavily on tooth, claw, and fang. Mother Nature is a cruel heartless bitch.

Schools in the “Bible Belt” could not use this cartoon as a means of instruction. It would be deemed far too graphic!

There’s nothing more painful than being “shlonked” or “glomped”.

Not for much longer at the rate we’re going. Unless the cause of Colony Collapse Disorder is found, Beekeepers estimate that the US bee population may be decimated by 2025.

Nature has to make sure the landscape isn’t overpopulated with flowers.

Said innocent daisy will now have to wait for aphid farming on both daisies for that cross-pollenation. The ladybugs will make a nice colour constrast against the white/yellow of the daisy.

As for the bees – the problem is everywhere.I think part of the problem is that they are stressed from being trucked from site to site. The rest of us can help our own gardens and city parks by putting up bee homes for the mason bees. They are hiveless bees that rarely sting and just want to visit every blossom. Check it out at your local garden centre. (rant finished)

Would that which we call a weed, by any other name still be a weed?
