Sometimes, girls, you just can’t see the forest for the trees.

I see that amidst the assorted detritus Luann has a poster of Gunther’s Beauty Pageant creation for her. I would not expect Bernice to laugh after Luann’s dismissive remark about Frank’s attempt at humor, but, still, girls, aren’t you being a little harsh at holiday time? Give the old guy a break!

And when are we going to get the Magnifier working on Sundays? It is working on The Meaning of Lila, but nowhere else.

Thanks for the tip (and it is [command key]+ on my Mac), but that just makes the fuzzy image larger, just like a cheap scanner. It does not improve detail of graphics, but is nice for small text that uses Truetype technology. During the week you can click on the magnifying glass that is below Bernice’s left ear in the last frame, but it is crossed out today. However, this functionality is working on “The meaning of Lila” today.

What’s that they say about the apple and the tree? I used to live like that?

The real magnifier is working in “On A Claire Day”, where it is particularly helpful.

Yes please – no politics in the comic zone! Unless it is a political comic in which case – let the fur fly!My son’s room when he was a teen made Luann’s look like a spread from Better Homes. When he left to strike out on his own I had very mixed feelings!He is much neater now – thank goodness!

One of my 4 kept his room (or his 1/2 of it) always neat – the others, NEVER! They all do well in their own homes now, although my girl still expects a maid (when she visits, too) and the one who was neat has a huge salary and takes his family lots of places we never could.

At least DAD enjoyed his own humor ;-)

Wow, Luann’s room looks just like my daughter’s LOL. And her little brother is getting just as bad :(. I told them long ago that as long as it wasn’t a fire hazard and they had a clear path to the door, then it was their space to keep as they want it, just close the door so I don’t have to look at it LOL. But if they want their clothes clean they had to have them in the hampers we provided for them or wash them themselves.

If there is talk of Brad’s room being occupied, and if Luann and Quill still plan music, it will have to be recorded in Luann’s room. .If Quill is to see her bedroom, watch Luann clean it instantanto !!. It will look like it’s out of Better Homes and Gardens.

I remember when my room always looked like Luann’s, but I keep it neat now. Parents can nag until they turn blue; it’s not going to do anything until the kid gets tired of the mess and realizes that things get done faster in a tidier room. This is off topic, but it seems like newspapers are shrinking the comics pages, resulting in more and more good comics being taken out and less and less new comics being introduced. So, more people are getting their Funnies Fix online for free rather than buying the paper. This being the case, wouldn’t it be logical to start making the current Luann arc continue on Sunday rather than interrupting it with something else? The whole reason Evans interrupts the arc for a Sunday gag is because some of his readers would get papers that would only publish Luann on Sundays or would only buy papers on Sundays, so they would be frustrated if the Sunday comic contained something from the middle of a story arc. However, times are changing, and the way we get entertainment is changing. Just a thought.

as long as Luann is STILL on newspapers with some of them not doing Sunday, he has to either do Sunday separate, or do recaps of whole weekday on Sunday(like Alley Oop)

You need to do two things Luann. One wear great lipstick and two clean your room!
