It would only be a little ironic, to have an umbrella while sitting in a pool.

Looks like summer in my neck of the woods….. sigh… I love Seattle, but it would be nice to have more sunny days during the summer.

Why is it that people won’t put on a wet bathing suit to go back into the pool?

If Alix don’t get out of the pool, it could become a shocking experience.

For a few years in Oregon, we not only had rain, but January-level cold in June. We call this phenomenon “June-u-ary.” It is ideal for going online, reading, or seeing a movie indoors.

EEK!! no one should ever be in water if there is a threat of lightning! Normally, I love your comic (very much) but this is very scary!

Um … people … think! She is in less danger of being struck by lightning in the wading pool than she would be in the house — the house stands higher. In fact if the wading pool is placed as close to the house as they usually are, the house acts as a lightning rod to protect her — any lightning in the vicinity would have to strike the rooftop.Being in the middle of a lake in a sailboat with an aluminum mast in a lightning storm is one thing — a wading pool next to the house is another thing entirely.-Cougar :{)
